Face the Storm

I was thinking about boating this morning since it’s on my list for the week to get winterized and put away till next year. I had a chance to go out boating many times this past summer at our cabin with and without the kids. Here is the thing about the lake we live on. It’s very shallow and so when a storm comes rolling out of the mountains or the wind picks up, it gets NASTY quick. You can get yourself into a situation very quickly. When a boat is in a storm, the way to make it out, is to face the wind head on. If you let the boat turn sideways, the storm will capsize it.
What do I want to share with you about this brief thought? When storms come into our lives, the best way to overcome them is to face them head on. It’s not always easy but face the storm in your life and you will come out on top.
