The typical approach to understand human behavior has been to look for the average behavior or outcome.
I’m going to advise you to NOT do that.
You are ready to level up and you do not want to be in the “cult of average”.
Here’s an example, in psychology, if someone asks a question such as, “How fast can a child learn to read in a classroom?”
Science changes that question to:
“How fast does the average child learn to read in the classroom?”
If we study merely what is average, we will remain merely average.
Surround yourself with people who are the outliers.
Find out who is crushing it in areas of life where you want to grow and succeed and then surround yourself with and study how they think, act, and behave.
This past week I was brought into a circle where within 2 minutes I exited the room…. Why?
All I saw were complaints, doom and gloom, and excuses.
