How to Better Your Situation
I don’t believe that God intended for any of us to live a mediocre, average life. Did you know that we are each designed for excellence? We are created in HIS image. You aren’t just one in a million, you are literally one in six billion. That’s right, there is nobody just like you, you are unique. Many people want God’s blessing on their lives but most just drift through life. There are no goals, no master plan, no overall purpose, and no ambition whatsoever. We are just existing.
I remember thinking that there had to be more to life than waking up at 3:30, being at work by 5, taking a one hour lunch ( nap), getting home at 5:00, feeding the kids, bathing them, and putting them in bed as quickly as I could so that I could wake up and repeat the process again. Day in, and day out. I never saw Gabby as she was working from 3:00 – 11:00 in the evenings. Everyday it was the same thing. This was a hardship in our lives but we thought it was normal. I had never seen another way. It wasn’t until I met and surrounded myself with big dreams and people with ambitions that all of this began to change.
How to better your situation and step out of the ordinary and into the extraordinary
YOU NEED A DREAM. If you are not dreaming, you are drifting. When you stop dreaming, you lose direction. When you stop setting goals, you stop growing. As long as your horizon is expanding, you will be an emotionally healthy human being. God made you for GROWTH. Everybody wants to know the secret to success in life and I will give it to you because it is really quite simple. God has a purpose for your life, and your key to success is to discover that purpose and then live it.
You need GROWING FAITH. I have met many super talented people who are sitting on the sidelines while pretty ordinary and simple people with faith are scoring all the touchdowns and making an impact on hundreds and sometimes thousands of people. Fear and Faith are both things that you won’t be able to see or physically touch so you get to choose which one that you want to live by. I choose faith.
PRAYER. I believe we all need to ask for a greater power to accomplish a dream. God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” ( Eph. 3:20). I believe that this means that you can’t ask too much. If you could stretch your imagination to the greatest possible limits of what you think could possibly happen. God can go even beyond that point.
