An Honest Look at the Company, the Products and the Critics

The Short Answer: Yes. Here Is the Whole Picture.

Disclosure: I am an independent MAKE Wellness affiliate, not a MAKE employee. If you buy or join through my links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Yes. MAKE Wellness is a real U.S. company, accredited by the Better Business Bureau, that sells natural peptide supplements through independent affiliates like me. But "legit" and "right for you" are two different questions. So here is what I would want to know if I were in your shoes: who runs the company, what you are actually buying, what the critics say, and how the affiliate side works.

My Story

Why I Asked This Question Too

I have spent 17 years helping people with meal plans, workouts, mindset and goal-setting. I have been married for 20 years and I am a dad of five. I have seen a lot of supplements come and go, so when MAKE launched, I was skeptical.

Twenty-one months later, at 45, I am leaner and stronger than I have ever been. Natural peptides are one part of that, alongside my training and nutrition (my personal experience; individual results vary).

On my podcast, The Level Up Life, I have interviewed MAKE’s founder, Justin Prince, twice: once before MAKE launched and again after the launch. You can hear about the company from him directly.

What You Are Actually Buying

MAKE sells dietary supplements built on what it calls Bioactive Precision Peptides. None of them are injections. Most come as stick packs you mix into a drink or as capsules, and the newer Beauty Stack includes topicals you apply to your skin. The line includes FIT, LEAN, RESTORED, ENERGIZED, FOCUSED, HYDRATED and CALM, plus the Beauty Stack. Most people I work with start with the Make3 Breakthrough Stack (FIT, LEAN and RESTORED).

One thing to be clear on: these are supplements, not medicine. In the U.S., the FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold. That is true of every supplement company, not just MAKE. Learn more in The Benefits of Using Natural Peptides.

What the Critics Say, and My Honest Take

If you have searched this question, you have probably found some critical reviews. Here is what they raise:

  1. "It is expensive." Fair. MAKE is premium-priced. If budget is tight, start with one product, not the whole stack, and see how it fits your routine.
  2. "Where are the studies?" MAKE points to research on its key peptide ingredients. Critics point out there are no published, peer-reviewed studies on MAKE’s finished products. That is a fair point, and it is why I treat these as support for a solid routine of food, training, sleep and mindset, never a replacement for it, or for your doctor.
  3. "The blends do not list every milligram." MAKE names its active ingredients but not every amount inside each blend. If you take medication or have a health condition, show the label to your doctor first.
  4. "Isn’t this an MLM?" It is direct selling, and I will not pretend otherwise. Critics took issue with how the company’s prelaunch was set up in 2024. Today it is free to join, with no monthly purchase required, and affiliates are paid on product sales. In 2025, the industry’s advertising watchdog reviewed some affiliates’ income claims, and MAKE responded with compliance training. That is one reason you will never see income promises on my site.
  5. "I saw complaints." The BBB lists a handful (5 in the last three years when I checked), mostly about cancellations and returns. MAKE has answered them publicly. No company has zero complaints; what matters is whether they respond.

Is It Right for You?

A good fit if you:

  • want a non-injectable peptide supplement as part of a healthy routine
  • want real support with meal plans, workouts and goals
  • like the idea of sharing products you use

Probably not a fit if you:

  • want a quick fix or a replacement for medical care
  • are pregnant or on medication and have not talked to your doctor
  • are looking for guaranteed income (no one can honestly promise that)
