What would it FEEL like to live in a beautiful home WITHOUT a mortgage? Friday afternoon in 2010 sitting in my cubicle with a piece of paper, I did the math on how I could pay off mortgage and retire by the age of 50 with One Million Dollars in the bank. I calculated EVERYTHING. My current pay. What I would be paid WHEN I got to the highest leadership positions at my current company. How much extra to pay monthly to my mortgage. How much monthly to put to savings. My best guess at inflation. At the time we only had two little girls ages 4 and 2, I did all this math without adding in expenses of more children or sports activities. There would be no vacations, no more kids, no fun toys. The math didn’t add up. No matter how far up the corporate ladder at my current job I moved up, no matter how frugal and diligent we were with our money, there was no way possible to pay off our home and be retired by 50 with a million dollars in the bank.
That was the DREAM but deep down inside I don’t believe that God plants DREAMS in our hearts without a way to accomplish them.So I got to work. I continued working my 12 hour days and Saturdays, Gabby continued to work night shifts, we were frugal and diligent with our money, I started buying and selling things on Craigslist, I started a custom sign business (and learning to market it on Facebook and Craigslist), and I did odd jobs for my friends that owned businesses. Then I experienced a workout program called P90X and whisperings from God that would be my answer. “You can build this dream by working this home fitness business from home at nights while the kids sleep and Gabby is at work.”
I went ALL IN with faith and putting in the work. It seemed impossible when I first set the goal to pay off our mortgage but the right people were brought into our lives by God at the right time.This picture represents the day where I was able to SHRED our mortgage at the age of 31 on stage at our annual Coach Summit in 2013. It’s been almost 8 years living life without any debt including a mortgage and it’s one of the most FREEING feelings in the world. I can’t explain it, it’s something you must feel for yourself. When you redirect your focus off what you’re going to “get” and onto how you want to feel, the Universe can get involved in the co-creation. I can see YOU in this position.

What are your greatest ambitions?
Once you identify them, set the goals and WORK with full faith that God and the Universe will guide and direct your path. Instead of focusing on ONLY the goal or money needed to accomplish the goal, ask yourself what can I do to serve the greater good of everyone I come in contact with? It’s from that place of LOVE that you’ll be supported and guided in accomplishing the dreams placed in your heart.
