What to do when Injured

Many of you know I’ve been pretty motivated to compete in the Body Beast Classic physique competition this July with a few of my friends so this news is a slight bummer.  I under rotated a backflip snowboarding and broke my clavicle in 3 places. Because it’s extensive I’ll have to schedule surgery because of the manner in which it snapped and I have the free floating bone “tenting”. It will need screws and metal plates . I’m grateful that we had great friends here to help me out on our Beachbody man retreat. Also grateful to receive a priesthood blessing which I believe helped stop me from fainting anymore. It’s a set back, but it won’t hold me back.  I will use this trial as a character building experience in my life.

UPDATE:  I had surgery last Wednesday morning and have been recovering for the past 5 days.  I feel blessed to have the freedom I have as a Team Beachbody Coach to spend the time with friends recovering in Big Sky Montana. Its also a HUGE relief to not have to worry about how to pay the for the surgery and cover bills while I am out. That is the power of building a great Network Marketing business like Team Beachbody. It was a cool experience to have the husband of one of our top leaders here in town at this time to be there with me as a friend at the surgery.  I will be honest in saying it was a little discouraging to see them all skiing and boarding while I sat at the condo but it was a good time for me to read, strengthen my mind, and rest.  I will share a video below with you on how I will overcome this struggle and use it as a way to turn this mess into my message.  My goal is to always show people how to see the good in everything that we face in life.
