I want to share with you an amazing member of our Beachbody coach family. Its amazing how God helps bring amazing people into your life as you overcome your fears, have faith, and go after your goals and dreams with relentless ambition. Teri Fisher M.D. is one of our strongest male leaders and he is the mentor to Lyndsey who has had a complete life change thanks to Team Beachbody. Part of my purpose statement says, “I help fathers and Mothers who know deep inside that there is a better way to live life and provide for their families. I do it so that children can grow up knowing their parents and so that these parents can be great role models to their children.” I have a HUGES sense of fulfillment and joy in seeing Lyndsey live out her purpose and be a fully present stay at home mom and business owner.
Before BeachBody came into my life I was a soon to be single mom, and feeling very overwhelmed with having to go back to work within 3 or so short months after having my son. It was important to me to say fit during my pregnancy, but I still gained over 40 lbs during my pregnancy. I felt like I took a big step back with my fitness, due to my situation the confidence I built up was gone, I felt hopeless and was worried about getting my confidence and my body back after pregnancy.
I found my mentor coach and signed up as a coach a week before I had my son. I had no idea what it all entailed, but something inside me was excited for the change!
It’s been over a year now since I started coaching, and WOW a lot can happen in a year! Besides gaining an extended BeachBody family, the fun incentives to reach my goals every month, and the amazing trip to Nashville this last year, BeachBody helped me with something I thought was impossible- it was still a struggle but I was able to take the FULL year off to raise my son, this to me is priceless.
I started to grow a team and being a leader made me believe in myself and gave me the confidence to go boss free and combine my medical esthetics and coaching. I now am a proud owner of my own business- Fit Beauty Inc. I am able to have flexible hours to raise my son, reach out and help more and more people, and truly start dreaming again.
Beachbody has helped me lose my baby weight, and in the last year I have lost over 60 lbs and 44″! I fell in love with the programs and support. I have the confidence now to reach out and really tell my story, in hopes it will help others. Because of this, I now have BIGGER goals, and my “dream” body will be reality.
At this point I can’t imagine not having Beachbody in my life. I want to be the role model that my son deserves, and I want to show him that dreams do come true!! Struggling is not an option anymore, and the future looks pretty damn exciting!
