I’m not even quite sure what to share about this amazing transformation photo. This is my wife, Gabby, and her results with just 21 Days of the 21 Day Fix.   Recently I started BLASTING Eric Thomas in the basement while doing my workouts and one of the things that he shared really struck a chord with her. “Look at yourself in the mirror!”  She is a BUSY mom of 5 beautiful children.  We often don’t get much sleep at all right now yet she followed through with her decision even though we traveled 3 times in the past 3 weeks.  I am so excited to see where she takes her transformation throughout the rest of the year.  This is what being a TEAM BEACHBODY COACH is all about.

“Thats the problem with some of you, you always want to blame other people…YOU let YOU down; YOU just said you’re giving 50% YOU owe YOU an explanation, YOU need to look at yourself in the mirror and say why are you only giving 50% whats wrong with you, YOU need to put yourself on punishment. I didn’t get here making excuses. I owe it to myself, can’t nobody stop me but me. You need to stop pointing fingers at people and you need to start pointing fingers at yourself; what did YOU not do ” E.T.

–Whoa talk about a slap in the face. Up until the day I heard these words after having baby #5 I had just been going through the motions, doing my workouts here and there not always giving 100%, and my nutrition was even worse, I can guarantee about 70% of my workouts were done in vain since I wasn’t committed to my nutrition; guessing on my portions, taking too many cheat meals, snacking with the kids, a lot of emotional eating trying to balance a family of 7 with a newborn, little sleep, and mom duties. I had known that I wasn’t giving 100% but until hearing someone state it BLUNTLY….. “YOU just said you’re giving 50% YOU let YOU down” I had been justifying ALL of it.
–After realizing I wasn’t doing myself any favors by doing half ass work I made a DECISION, set time aside to plan my meals even having gone on 3 different trips during these 21 days, taking my laptop everywhere (thank you Beachbody on demand), taking my containers, pushing my limits, making MYSELF a priority and knowing that even if i took rests or paused or didn’t do as many rep as those in the video that i was doing MY best and giving 100% and that at the end of the day I did all I could
— Honestly I look at these pictures and think WOW is that really me? Did I really do that? I pushed myself but even I was surprised by the difference in these pictures. For 21 days I didn’t know what to expect. I am 100% proud of myself and my favorite part was showing the kids my before/after pictures and seeing their faces, being able to be that example for them and seeing THEM make their health a priority. I plan on staying true to being their example, I’m pretty sure there will be some learning curves along the way and for the next 21 days I am committing AGAIN and would love for my friends and family to join me!
