I want to share with you the results of my friend Amanda Moore. What I love about Amanda is her commitment to living a healthy lifestyle for herself but to also help so many other people including the loved ones who are closest to her.  She is the mother of 5 kids and so she is super busy.  I get asked all the time what is a good busy mom workout that will fit into my schedule?  There are many options that I enjoy starting my friends on including the 21 Day Fix, T25, P90X3, and PiYo.  I want you to hear Amanda’s story and how this busy mom gets her workout in each day.

“I have always been a yoyo dieter since I was a teenager. I can gain and lose like no one’s business. However I was in a bad marriage for almost 10 years so food became my comfort I assume. I got a divorce and decided I needed to do something for myself. The past couple of years I have been able to start off head first and kick ass to get down to about 170lbs (20lbs from my goal weight) then once fall hits I get so busy in life that I start to fall. And I gain again. Last year I hurt my foot and couldn’t work out for a few weeks and then we went on vacation and there was not enough room in our hotel room to workout so I thought I would be ok and I just couldn’t recover after that.

I have 5 kids. One in competitive soccer. Her schedule is crazy. And I work full time and attend school. So I am a very busy mom. My boyfriend has now gone to days and gets up at 3:30 to get ready for the day. So my goal is to start getting up when he does. But I hadn’t yet. Its only been 2 week that he has been on this schedule but I am determined to do it.

Sodas are my trigger food. I am now 3 weeks without one as of today. I have lost about 9-10lbs. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to food. Sugar is another trigger. Sweet tea, sugar in my coffee, and just stupid candy. Again I am 3 weeks out from having as much of that too. I have come a long way in my nutrition. Still need to add ALOT more veggies but its one day at a time for me.”
