Five frogs are sitting on a log. Four decide to jump off. How many are left?
The typical answer that might be in your mind would be “one”, however, my friend, that answer is incorrect.
There would be five frogs sitting on the log because there’s a big difference between deciding and doing.
When I started my journey as a coach I knew that I would be way in over my head. I knew that it would challenge me beyond anything I had ever done before, and I knew that if I didn’t get better as a leader I would fail. This helped me to take action as quickly as I possibly could.
There’s a quote by Leo Buscaglia that goes like this, “Life lived for tomorrow will always be a day away from being realized.”
The reality is my friend, that you will never get much done unless you go ahead and DO IT before you are ready.
The mission of our team is to empower others to continually develop into their fullest potential. If you are not already intentionally growing, you need to get started today. If you don’t, you may reach some of your goals, which you can celebrate, but you will eventually hit a plateau.
Ask yourself today “what’s next?” Then make a plan to grow and take immediate action today. Don’t just say you’re going to do it or decide to do it, remember that there is a big difference between deciding and doing.
