Immediately after setting the goal to take our team to superstar diamond, the thoughts started coming in.
You’re rehabbing your shoulder procedure.
It’s summer and you have a trip to Manhattan and Florida the next two weeks.
You’ll be overwhelmed hitting the score and building two homes at the same time.
Luckily I caught myself in these thoughts on the flight home last night and decided now is the time.
I set my alarm for 6 AM so that I could read my personal development book, read my scriptures, meditate upon my goals, and then start my program with my first run.
As I came out and put my shoes on, my 13 year old daughter asked me if I could take her to the store for some snacks for her hike during girls camp.
My mind immediately started to say “no you have to follow through with your commitment to run on schedule, you have a packed day of business a

By the grace of God, and thanks to my early meditation I was quickly reminded that I am building this business to be more present in my family‘s life. The world responded with clarity.
So I’m documenting this win. I got to spend 30 uninterrupted minutes looking my daughter in the eyes and listening to her excitement and concerns about girls camp before I dropped her off at the church at 8 AM.
My friends, in order to achieve your goals, you have to hustle and you have to stay committed, but never at the expense of your family. You’re building this for them. Involve them and have open communication.
