Change our Situation
One of the misconceptions I believe many of us has in this life is that we really don’t matter that much. That are actions can’t make that big of a difference. My short few words to you this morning is that you already DO make a difference. Are you a parent? A sibling? A son? A daughter? A Friend? You matter to each one of these people.
So what kind of difference do you want to make?
I used to wish it was easier. I wished I could change our situation. I used to wish I had not dropped out of college. I used to wish that I had not walked away from my Dental Lab Career. I used to wish that we hadn’t had gotten pregnant with Kina before we were married. I used to wish I had more time with my family. I wanted things to change SO BAD that I used to sit and write out plans to figure out how to make it all chang but none of it made any sense to me and I figured out why. It was all a part of God’s bigger plan. It wasn’t until I read a quote that made me change the way I look at things and the quote was from a fellow Idaho Farm boy Jim Rohn. “For things to change, you have to change.”
Whatever trial it is you are facing today, I want you to know that it’s in your life for a reason.
I don’t know WHY our whole family is sick with the flu and has been out this entire past week but I know it’s for a reason and to help us grow.
