Did you know that COMMON SENSE is not COMMON PRACTICE in many cases?
We all know that we should exercise, sleep 8 hours, eat healthier, and be kind to others. 🙌🏻
Since this is all common knowledge to us, shouldn’t it be EASY?🤔
Of course NOT because in life, just having the knowledge is only half of the battle. Without action knowledge is often meaningless. This is why, according to the New York Times that 80% of New Years Resolutions are broken by January 10th. I want you to ask yourself right now, Have you STUCK to YOUR New Years Resolutions?🤪🙏🏻
Here is a quick idea that will help you create NEW and positive HABITS in your life. ❤️💡
– Put your desired behavior or habit in the path of least resistance so that there is less energy to start. 👍🏻
What this means: So if you want to workout……
Make sure that your workout clothes and shoes are in a place that you can immediately put them on and start without thinking about it. 🙆🏻♂️
If you want to play the guitar, take it OUT of the case and put it on a stand. 🎸
If you want to WORK on a business or idea, set up a office and have your note pad out and your computer up and ready to go 💻
I personally leave my gym shorts and tank top folded so that it’s the ONLY option of clothing to put on when I get out of the shower. 🚿
When I travel on vacation, the FIRST thing I do when I arrive is set up a little office. I pull out my to-do-list, plug my laptop in, and have the office sitting there. That way it takes me LESS than 20 seconds to get started. 💡
You’ll be SURPRISED at what this little activity will do for you. It has been the difference of working a “power hour” during a 7 day vacation and not working at all during 7 days and it literally comes down to creating a path to least resistance.💡
