Hurting people Hurt People
I was talking with a group of brand new coaches on a video chat last night and one of them brought up how a GOOD friend got angry with her for asking her if she wanted to be in a 21 Day Fix Challenge group. This upset friend let her know that she couldn’t believe that she would use their friendship to try and sale a product. I LOVE being able to talk through things like this with my coaches because we get to teach them things MUCH bigger than just building a business.
One of my favorite things to remember in times like this is that hurting people hurt other people as a result of their own pain. If somebody is rude, mean, aggressive, and/or inconsiderate, you can almost be certain that they have some unresolved issues inside. They are going through something that at the current moment we can’t understand. They have some major problems, anger, difficulties, resentment, or some heartache they are trying to deal with or overcome. The last thing they need is for YOU to make matters worse by responding angrily.
This is YOUR opportunity to try and understand them and serve them in whatever way you possibly can <3
