We’re building our DREAM HOUSE in Idaho Falls
In 2010 I wrote out my dream which was to have our home paid off, be retired, and have a Million Dollars in the bank at the age of 50. When I wrote out that dream I was 29 years old and made $16 an hour working in a Steel Factory, Gabby was working nights at the Hilton Garden Inn, and I was and buying and selling xbox’s and electronics on Craigslist on the side.
As we built an incredible online business over the past 12 years we have continued to live within our means, clothes shopping at Ross and thrift stores and not upgrading vehicles when sometimes it would have been nice.
We’ve had PATIENCE.
We have used every extra dollar we earn to invest in Vacation Rental properties where our guests get to enjoy incredible memories with their families in absolutely beautiful homes. To be honest, each of these homes is far nicer than the home we live in ( which don’t get me wrong, is absolutely beautiful thanks to Gabby)
We’ve built our vacation rentals business to the point where the income from rents can pay a mortgage on our dream home.
We’ve been visualizing what we would want our dream home to look like, how much land it sits on, having an indoor sports court and pool, and the general location and we found an off market piece of land on the water with 1.20 acres and we are so excited and (Nervous) to build our dream home and share that journey with YOU.
So if you have any tips or advice on building a home, great builder names, architect referrals, or anything else we are all ears as we are NEW to this!
