Satan works in our lives
I’m learning alot about the way Satan works in our lives. I’m learning that he isn’t just there to tempt us to commit sins and errors that are obvious but that he is constantly trying to steal our agency. In my instance, I’ll share what I am feeling as I work through the repentance process.
The Lord teaches us that when we apply the atonement in our lives we may rejoice! So how come I feel DEEP peace for most of the time and then at times I am having flashes of regret and wishing I could go back?
I’m learning that Satan uses a very damaging tool of destruction designed specifically for those people who have properly and deeply repented of serious sin. After working through repentance and having a sweet feeling of joy, satisfaction, and more importantly peace.
He enters again…. And again… and again.
He instills a sense of guilt for feeling so good. He tries to convince you that because of your former misdeeds and transgressions that you will always be “second class” or never as good as those who have never committed more grave sins.
He will work to convince you that it is unfair that you should have the same blessings and happiness as saints who have never fallen off the path like you have.
I will not let him win and will continue arming myself and becoming VERY aware of his tactics so that I can protect myself, my wife, and my children
