Business is like a Roller Coaster | ScottieHobbs.com

When I was talking with Jessica Carey about the opportunity to share her story and teach on our weekly Coach Team Training call she shared with me that she has had a bumpy coach road, but every time that she leveled up in her own fitness, her business has reaped the rewards. She talked about how her business is like a Roller Coaster. As a mom of 5 she has gone on to lose 62 lbs with Beachbody and keep it off. She has also been a coach for 7 years. She leads a 6 Star diamond team, took her team to Premier status 2 times and locked in Elite for the first time last year. I am so excited to share her story with YOU because every time that I hear a story like this I know that you have the ability to go after and achieve any goal, dream, and vision that you might have. Business is like a roller coaster. You can be scared or you can brace yourself for the ups and downs, stay on the ride and ENJOY the journey.

“I’m a mom of five from Wichita, Kansas. I started with Beachbody 7 years ago as a customer. Having always been on the diet roller coaster since having kids, I was looking for a better solution. The only way I had been able to lose weight in the past was with diet pills, and I wanted to find a better way. I reached out to friend on social media who looked amazing after having her last baby, and asked her what she was doing. She helped me get the tools I needed, plugged me into a community of supportive humans and I got to work.

In that first week I was feeling better than I ever had, and lost 4 pounds! I was so excited and feeling so great I started sharing on my social media! It didn’t take long for people to start asking me what I was doing to feel so good. That’s when my coach asked me if I had thought about coaching. It had never crossed my mind.. who would want to be coached by someone with such a yo-yo journey with health and fitness?? However, I knew how great I was feeling after just one month, and I just wanted to help one other person feel that good. So I went for it. I will never forget the first time I got a message from one of my new clients that simply said “Thank you. Thank you for helping me change my life.” And I was hooked. 7 years later and my goal is still to get as many messages like that as possible. I’ve lived in that mission and built a team around that mission. The impact we are able to make when we link arms is astounding. I can’t wait to see what the next 7 years will bring.
