“In 2006 my family was selected by Habitat For Humanity to build our house.
I kept this a secret for a really long time….
For 4 years we were living in a crappy 2 bedroom trailer with 6 kids. I shared a room with 6 people for most of my teenage years.
As a young teen, I was extremely embarrassed about this. When a friend of mine read about us in the newspaper, I shrank. The secret was out, I was a trailer park girl and we were a poor “charity family.” 
I felt anxious about inviting people over and making new friends. I didn’t think I fit in anywhere and had nothing to offer.
I developed a huge fear of judgement, social anxiety, low self esteem, and even got a couple of underage drinking tickets…
After having my 2nd baby, all of it resurfaced. Again, I felt separate, alone, anxious, & often caught in my own shame storm.
I knew I needed to start something for me again….
I started a holistic healing fitness business. I was determined to end some trends in my family like obesity, poverty and yelling.
Within a few months, I was feeling more alive, energized, and joyful again. I was slowly building my confidence & self esteem back by keeping the promises I made to myself.
I KNEW I needed to share this feeling with others.
When it was time to reach out and find friends & biz partners to work with, I nearly puked. I had two choices to face my fear and EVOLVE or retreat.
Like many of us, my ego told me that other’s opinions were the most important thing.
Each layer of this transformation required me to go inside & dig deeper. My ego whispered that I wasn’t enough. I needed more experience, time, money, support blah blah blah.
I carried on. I couldn’t deny how I was feeling. I continued helping others and building my biz organically and genuinely.”
