This is a quote that helped change my life just about 3 years ago. Fast forward to today.This morning I feel blessed as I went to a Daddy/Daughter Breakfast with Kina before her class started.

My Mother who is fully employed by us came over to watch the littles so I could do this. After that I was able to enjoy the sun and gentle breeze with Mila, Ellie, and Papi as we waited for the school bus to come pick up Mila for pre-school. This is the beginning to a DREAM DAY that I always wanted in my life. To never miss the moments that will pass so fast in this life. It almost seems unbelievable to me that this is how my day begins and that we have the opportunity to be FULLY present in the lives of our children. To be the healthiest I have even been in my life and providing an example for my future generations to follow.Just three years ago I was stressed out wondering how we would pay the hospital bills that were beginning to come in from the birth of my third daughter Elina. I was making $34,000 a year and Gabby was making about $10,000 at her full-time job. We were paying neighbors to help watch our kids for the 2 hours that I was still at work and where Gabby had left for the night shift. I never saw her except for visiting the front desk at the hotel where she worked. I was a college drop out that was working hard day in and day out. Then Ellie was born on March 19th, Gabby had to come home from work and we lost her income. It was a tough time for us. We refinanced our home to make it more affordable, I begin to buy and sell things on Craigslist to make small commissions which helped us buy the groceries and pay other bills. Then on April 11th 2011 I made a huge leap of faith to join as a Team Beachbody Coach. I had been following my coach Lindsay for 8 months and knew that I could make a business by sharing my results and helping people but I was too stubborn to start. I had great results with P90X and already LOVED giving advice and recommending the program. I bought and sold a bunch of Xboxes so that I could purchase my first bag of Shakeology and sign up as a Team Beachbody coach for a total of about $140. Honestly I was scared out of my mind that I would not be able to make that money back and didn’t want to bring on extra stress to our our family. I came home to tell Gabby that I had signed up and asked her. Do you believe this will work? She told me… “I don’t know but I believe in you” It gives me the chills to think about the POWER of her belief in me together with many others that I mention in this video I made this morning VIDEO HERE. I want to share with you that its a blessing and an honor to meet so many of you and to see your excitement as you go through different phases of your journey with Team Beachbody whether its just doing the works or your passion for building a business of helping other people with our workout programs and nutrition. I still can’t believe that our Team was #4 in the ENTIRE COMPANY last year and that Gabby and I will be able to spend 10 days in Italy with the other Top 10 Coaches. THANK YOU TEAM and THANK YOU GOD for guiding us. I remember so vividly the beginning. Sure, I was scared but I LOVED and could not wait to get home at night and answer messages. I could not wait to blog or make a youtube video about something that I learned. I felt that I was part of something bigger and for once in my life. I felt like I really mattered and was meant for something bigger than what we had grown used to. Some may call them sacrifices that I had to make but I want you to know that it was out of LOVE for the way I felt each day. Every single message of positivity that I received made me feel needed and wanted. Ps… my Love Language is “Words of Affirmation” I was so driven to be accepted and I finally found a healthy way to “be accepted.”

We have never missed a Super Saturday. We have driven 5-6 hours to be at Trainings, We have listened to every National Wakeup call, Team Call, Surge, and anything that successful coaches and the Ceo Carl Daikeler put out there for us to learn and grow. We even drove 15 hours to a Leadership event with a 3 day old baby because we didn’t want to miss be surrounded by leaders and people that would lift us up. (Gabby deserves a metal or something for that trip). We are forever grateful for the lifestyle that has been given to us thanks to Team Beachbody. Even today with the freedom that we have to possibly sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of our past three years of sacrifice and labor; I can’t wait to wake up everyday, Do my workout, Drink my Shakeology, and stay in the trenches inviting friends, family, and strangers to join the Beachbody Challenge and help us in ending the Trend of Obesity.
