I’m a little bit emotional this morning as I just finished listening to Paola share her story with me about how in the past 2 years Team Beachbody has changed her life. She had no idea when she signed up as a Beachbody Coach the change that would come into her life and that she would be able to find her life purpose and passion. I choked up as I heard her share from her heart emotionally about the blessing that has happened in her life. Paola is a part of our team and just 3 short months after starting her journey with a challenge pack, her coach quit. She soon found that the team was there to uplift and support her though her journey to lose over 55 lbs. This is a true Team Beachbody Coach success story and we are excited to hear her share her story with us next week on our weekly team call.
I started on July 15 of 2015 with 21 Day Fix because I saw a before after picture on IG and it inspired me because I was at the point of where I would do anything that it took to lose the weight that I had put on. I reached out to this person after she had put up that before/after picture and I immediately signed up as a discount coach because I was going to get a discount I was desperate to lose the weight and feel better. I had never been that overweight in my life. My little one was 1-1/2 and I had just gone back to work. My family was going down the road of unhealthy habits even to the point that my husband was at risk of having a heart attack so this Beachbody opportunity came to my life at the perfect time. I participated in a challenge group where where I was really self-motivated and the people in the group really just taught me what a group was and how I could help others as I held my self accountable. That is when the seed was planted that I could also help others.
In my first round of 21 Day Fix I lost 14 lbs and I was amazed! At the time we had just moved away from our hometown and were commuting 2 hours to work and two hours back from work and thanks to Team Beachbody we are on track to be able to hopefully leave my job later this year because the Beachbody Coaching opportunity fell into my lap. Little by little I began to realize that I could help people as I was posting to social media just to share my journey. I didn’t even realize that I could sign people up and didn’t know what it meant to do that. The first month I posted for my own accountability and I was able to help one person get started and I didn’t even realize that I would be getting paid a commission for helping her get started. When I saw that first check, I was like “WOAH” This is our answer. This is the way that we will be able to stop leaving pay check to paycheck. With three little ones and living that way, this really opened doors for me. I began to share more and more and but wasn’t really “ALL IN”. In those first three months I had my own Shakeology paid for which was a huge blessing for my family and in October I decided to go all in as I had already lost 40 lbs. I began sharing my story and I had eager and motivated coaches in my downline. Once I decided to go all in, I have hit SC 5 since October and staring in December of 2015 I have hit SC 10 every month.
Six months into my coaching journey I became a 1 Star diamond, lost 55 lbs, My first diamond coach also lost 55 lbs. The most amazing thing about this journey is that we have had a few people lose over 100 lbs. My mother was able to get off of her medication and because of these things I will ALWAYS do Team Beachbody and help people even if it didn’t provide a full-time income for my family. I know that it works and I know that it is changing lives. Every single day get messages like, “You saved my life” and “You save my marriage”, ” My kids will not grow up obese thanks to you”. I can’t believe that I am able to make a difference in the lives of others. This career is so fulfilling and it’s been amazing to see my life where it is right now thanks to Team Beachbody. I used to think there was no hope for a girl like me who is a college dropout.
I listen to personal development and my attitude about life has completely changed and I can’t even recognize the girl that started this journey 2 years ago and I feel so blessed.
