Turmeric Rice Recipe
Here is a simple Turmeric Rice Recipe that you can cook in less than 30 minutes. This recipe incorporates Turmeric which we don’t usually fit into our diets. Some of the benefits of using Turmeric in your meals can include helping with inflammation, menstrual problems, blood in urine, toothaches, bruises, chest pain, flatulence, and colic just to name a few. Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in a large skillet
Add 1/2 cup of chopped onions
Cook and stir 3 minutes
Add 1 cup long grain rice
2 tsp of Italian seasoning & 1/2 tsp ground Turmeric
Cook and stir 2 minutes
Stir in 2 cups Chicken Broth
Bring to Boil; Cover
Simmer 15 minutes
Stir in 1 cup frozen peas; Cover
Cook 10 minutes or until rice is tender
