We are all struggling inside
Sometimes I get messages or comments from people that are upset about their situation and life and feel that I don’t understand. What I am understanding more of lately especially if you have been watching our youtube channel is that we are alls struggling inside.
Sometimes they are aggressively upset toward ME about what is going on in their own life with their personal struggles. We all have struggles, some more than others but each and everyone of us has problems no matter how great it may look from the outside. If I challenge you to focus on YOU and focus on goals you have told me you want to achieve it’s not because I don’t care about your situation or understand what you are going through. Its because I am learning something and have seen MANY people in hard situations and some are happy and some mull in despair for months. So if I have these struggle as well as others, why does it look like or appear that I have a “perfect” life?
Your life is like a car. You have a forward gear and you have a reverse gear. You personally get to decide which way you want to go and one doesn’t take any more effort than the other. I have had many struggles over the past years from finding out I was losing my vision, to flooded basements, personal demons, to family troubles but I choose to focus on the positive and not dwell on the negative. You always have the choice in life to focus on what’s wrong with you or to focus on what is right with you. You can look at how far you’ve got to go or you can look at how far you have already come.
Many of us use excuses like, “I’m negative because I had negative things happen to me”, “My business isn’t growing, A friend did me wrong, My spouse is not here for me, I had a bad childhood, I’m dealing with a sickness, and that is why I am negative and sour”
It is not ever your circumstances that makes you negative. It will always be your attitude about your circumstances. I have heard before that you can take 10 positive people and 10 negative people and put them in the exact same problem. Same job, same family situation, and same house- 10 of them will come out just as positive and happy and 10 will come out just as negative. They have the same problems and circumstances and the only difference is their attitude.
So how can you be that positive person so that you don’t pass your negative influence to others? Do you want to be that person that when you come into the room they are excited to be around you?
1. Make up your mind to enjoy LIFE.
2. Focus on all of your possibilities and NOT your problems.
3. Be grateful for what you have don’t complain about what you don’t have
Don’t wait to be happy until your situation changes. Let your light shine in the place that God has you right now. Be happy while God is working on changing the situation. When you can do THIS, you are passing the test.
