I’m pissed off.
It’s early 2011 and I’m sitting in my cubicle when I log onto Facebook during my 10 minute break at 9:30 am.
It’s a dreary, dark, and slightly chilly morning in Idaho after a long winter and I see HUNDREDS of people on a cruise ship. They are posting pictures of a live workout with @tonyshorton and @shaunt and I’m just mad. I’m upset because I know that I can work just has hard as them and that if hundreds of people were able to go then why not me?
Why am I stuck in this cubicle and they are enjoying life?
I messaged my sponsor and said, “How do I go on those earned trips?”
She told me that I needed to bring on at least 3 new customers or partners a month and I would get an invitation.
I could do that. I WOULD do that. I had been a missionary, I knew how to knock doors, share a message, and invite. I have done door to door vacuum sales and earned top seller in Utah.
This would be simple. I LOVED the workouts and I didn’t go a day without the supplements.
I told my wife I would earn us a trip for 2 to Atlantis and I got to work.
It’s been 12 years since that decision and in just 2 weeks we’ll be at the Unico Resort in Mexico with our team for our 12th earned trip.
I’m curious… which of you will be coming with us next year. You’re a decision away.
