I can’t help but be excited tonight as I share the results of my friend Alex Salinas. He originally found out about P90X through the Beachbody Infomercial. “How did you find out about Team Beachbody – I bought P90X off an tv ad known as a Beachbody Infomerical. I thought, why not. Worse thing that could happen is, I don’t do it and I stay fat. I was convinced that everyone being shown was photoshopped thought.
How do you feel NOW vs before you started – Doctors told me I wouldn’t live to see past 30 if I kept gaining weight at the rate I was. I had stretch marks that would bleed. I was ashamed of what I allowed myself to become. I was depressed and wanted to die (to be honest)
Now, I feel like I’ve recaptured who i’m supposed to be. I can’t imagine feeling like I did before. It’s a hard place to live everyday. Depression is an ugly thing but I am grateful to have been what I’ve been through cause it has made me who I am today
Why are you going to continue your journey and help others? – Why continue? It’s a way of life for me. I will never go back to who I was before. I see old pics and stare at them as I tear up and remember the pain I was once in. Physically and mentally. You can’t escape yourself no matter how hard you try.
