Well I have given this a lot of thought and the truth is that Less Mills/Shaun T and Shakeology saved out lives.

I use Insanity and T25 most of the time just because I love it but I am a Less Mills fan through and through and I look forward to Combat no matter what I have done that day. My hubby does both Insanity and T25 but he is a runner and has done several 1/2 and full Marathons and we go to Disney every January with our family to run the races.

So about 3 years ago I was really sick, in a lot of pain and with all my being thought it was the end for me. I was 279lbs at my highest weight and was size 22 and I could not even look at myself in the mirror. I had an 18 month old and a 4 year old and could not get up off the couch if I had done any kind of activity. I was fighting with our medical system to find out what was wrong with me and I was making promises everyday in my prayers that if I was ok and nothing was wrong I would do anything and everything I could to help myself and help others and make a difference. I finally was sent in for an MRI and they found what they thought was a tumour and was rushed in for surgery. I ended up having Endometriosis and the “timor” was a large hard cluster ball of Endometrial cells. They removed it and all the other cells and I started my mend. Once I got the all clear after 2 months of recover due to a little complication I started moving. The most I could do was 15 min on my stationary bike. Hubby and I made a commitment to each other that we would get healthy.

At that time my husband was on Heart Medication, Beta Blockers due to his crazy high blood pressure due to being 260 lbs or close to that because he would not get back on a scale we had 2 very young kids and he was scared. He started training for a 5K and we had Power90.

We started feeling better and loosing weight we bought ski equipment that winter for the entire family and started to get active as a family.

We have never looked back. We are skiers, we are cyclists, we are runners and triathletes.

My kids have both now down 2 triathlons and my hubby has done 1 and a duathlon. I have done a relay Triathlon and tried to do a Duathlon but ended up with a knee injury doing a 200km bike ride for Cancer raising money for Research so I could not do it.

My kids run a few 5Ks a year they are now 6 and 8 and our trips are planned because of races or skiing or cycling events take place.

We are lovers of Shakeology and it has made such an amazing difference in our lives helping me with Endo and my hubbies running. He is right now training for his Second Dopey race in Disney that is 4days back to back…. day 1 – 5K, day 2 – 10K, day 3 – 1/2 marathon day 4 – Full Marathon

I am very proud of what we have done and love that I am able to share it with the world and help others.

I am not at my goal I have another 35lbs to go and with my Endo that is now back that makes it very hard to do but I workout 6 out of 7 days and am active everyday.
