Out of control
One of the biggest drivers of success is having the belief that your behavior matters; that we have control over our future.
Often time what happens in life is as our workload increases and we become more stressed out, we get to the point where we feel like we can’t keep up. When this happens, your feelings of CONTROL are one of the first things to go. We try to tackle TOO much. Have you ever felt out of control?
I want to teach you the KEY of what I do personally. Remember I have 5 children, teach Sunday School, play in a band, and lead a team of close to 40,000 amazing people across the country. More days than not I feel like a HOT MESS.
1. Concentrate your efforts on small manageable goals. This will help you have a feeling of control which is VITAL to your performance. If you focus on and concentrate on small manageable goals, you gain a feeling of control, and over time you can accumulate resources, knowledge, and confidence to expand what you are able to do and accomplish with the help of others.
What 5 things do I FOCUS on in my business? ( I then fully understand that the rest is out of my control and I am OK with that.)
A. 5 hours of Personal growth or development audios throughout the day.
B. My OWN transformation, health, and vitality.
C. Making genuine connections with at least 5 new people a day.(With end goal of starting 10 people on their transformation as a part of Team Beachbody monthly)
D. Giving recognition to at least one person per day.
E. Teaching what I learned in my personal development via video, blog, or social media to give back.
