Water is what sustains life with anything living on earth. The importance of drinking water and healthy weight loss can be easily misunderstood.   All humans, plants, and animals depend on water to live.  Humans for example can go close to a month without eating ANY sort of solid foods. Amazing huh?  Over two thirds of our body is water, yet most of us don’t clearly understand the importance of drinking pure water (no chlorine, no chemicals, no bacteria or carcinogens).  If you take water out of the equation a human will perish within 3 days. Try cold water between meals.

       Some studies indicate that water which is lower than body temperature will help with weight loss. According to the researchers, water that is cooled to about 70° F increases the rate at which calories are burned. The reason for this is simple: the body must use considerable amounts of energy to warm the cold water up to body temperature. It’s not recommend to drink icy cold water, especially during meals, because it can inhibit the digestive process.

How does drinking water help you in your healthy weightloss?

  • Water helps to maintain healthy body weight by increasing metabolism and regulating appetite.
  • Water leads to increased energy levels. The most common cause of daytime fatigue is actually mild dehydration.
  • Drinking adequate amounts of water can decrease the risk of certain types of cancers, including colon cancer, bladder cancer, and breast cancer.
  • For a majority of sufferers, drinking water can significantly reduce joint and/or back pain.
